Meet Our Executive Team
Philip Latvis, Jr., CIC President
As President and CEO of Centurion Corporation, Phil is responsible for the strategic direction of the agency and for developing the team that delivers insightful counsel and exceptional service to our clients. In his insurance career of more than 25 years, Phil has served in a variety of roles including as Vice President- Agency Manager of an insurance agency, as Manager of the Northern New England terrritory for a major insurance carrier, as a Regional Manager for an employee benefits firm, as well as working with a third party administrator focused on self-funded employee benefit plans for mid-sized corporations. In addition to his insurance career, Phil has experience with the operation of a multi-unit franchise company as a co-owner. Phil utilizes the broad perspective this experience provides to assist our clients in making informed decisions related to their insurance programs and business operations.
Phil has been an active member of his community having served as youth sports coach and board member. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Upper Valley Hostel as well as for the American Bankers Insurance Association.
Phil is a graduate of Keene High School, in Keene, New Hampshire. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Bentley University and is a membor of the Society of Certified Insurance Couselors. Phil and his wife, Tammy, have lived in Wilder, Vermont for more than twenty years and have three grown children.
John J. Casey, Jr., CIC Vice President
Jack possesses more than 40 years of experience in all three corners of the insurance business as an agent/broker, underwriter with an international insurer, and casualty insurance examiner for the New Hampshire Department of Insurance.
Jack brings balance and insight to matching client needs to stable carriers, and is a problem solver for people who have assets to protect. He determines exposures and potential unforeseen events, negotiates to obtain valuable coverages and competitive premiums, and develops multiple options for his clients to review.
Jack is a past director of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Hampshire and the New England Alliance of Insurance Agents Association. He was appointed by the New Hampshire Insurance Commissioner to the Departments License Examination Review Committee and as the agent representative to the New Hampshire Workers Compensation Insurance Plan. He has an extensive history of community service, including as past member and chair of the Marlow School District Board, Moderator for the Town of Marlow, and Chairman of the Marlows Zoning Board of Appeal. A talented writer and music aficionado, Jack makes his home with his family in Marlow, New Hampshire.
Esther Dobbins-Marsh, CISR Vice President & Comptroller
Esther has a dynamic history of over 30 years at Centurion. She left her staff accountant position at a local CPA firm for Centurions accounting department in 1981, and soon took charge as comptroller. Esther is also the administrator for Centurions Flexible Benefits and Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) accounts for our commercial clients.
In addition to her accounting and Flexible Benefits duties, Esther handles the personal insurance portfolios for many of Centurions elite clientele. She is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurances, and holds her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation.
Esther is also responsible for Centurions office management. She ensures the inner workings of Centurion run smoothly so that current and prospective clients receive the service they deserve and expect from us.
Esther is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she specialized in accounting. She is active in a variety of civic affairs, and is the current Treasurer and District Clerk for the Rivendell Interstate School District. Esther resides in Orford, New Hampshire with her family.
