Tom knows the ins and outs of the insurance business from brokerage to underwriting. With his background as an underwriter, he understands the rating mechanisms, can anticipate what issues might arise with a carrier, and will respond on behalf of the customer. Tom is recognized nationally for his expertise in handling sophisticated insurance issues in the health care industry and corporate governance issues involving the Securities Exchange Commission. He lived and worked as an underwriter overseas, so he understands the challenges of international operations, foreign country requirements, and shipping exposures.
Tom currently heads Centurion’s Excess & Special Risk division, providing valuable counsel and coverage for corporations and individuals in need of management liability coverages.
Tom attended Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He holds his Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses, and is a Certified Insurance Counselor.
Tom is currently a Trustee of Proctor Academy, active in community service, as well as a past president of the Hanover Rotary Club.
